Power Only 53' Dry Van 48 States

Drive for a team
that has your back.

Prime Edge LLC is hiring Class A CDL drivers and owner-operators for dry van and power only runs across the 48 states. Steady miles, weekly pay, and a dispatcher who actually picks up.

What driving for Prime Edge gets you

All Miles Paid

Loaded, empty, and deadhead. If the wheels are turning for Prime Edge, you're getting paid for it.

Detention & Layover Paid

Time sitting at a shipper is still time away from home. We pay for it instead of pretending it doesn't happen.

Dispatch 24/7

Breakdown at 2 a.m.? Reroute on a Sunday? Someone who can actually make a decision answers the phone.

Pay

Paid weekly, with nothing hidden

What you earn depends on your experience and the lanes you want to run, so we go through the real numbers with you on the first call rather than posting one figure that fits nobody. Call (646) 322-0148 and ask — we'll tell you straight.

Weekly Direct Deposit

Same day, every week, with an itemized statement showing every mile and every accessorial on the load.

Clean Inspection Bonus

Pass a DOT inspection with no violations and it shows up on your settlement. Doing it right should pay.

Referral Bonus

Know a good driver? Bring them in and get paid once they're rolling. Our best hires come from drivers we already trust.

Equipment

Trucks you won't be embarrassed to park

Your truck is your office and your bedroom. We keep our equipment maintained on schedule, and if something breaks we fix it instead of asking you to nurse it another 1,500 miles.

  • Well-maintained tractors serviced on a preventive schedule, not after something fails.
  • Comfortable sleeper cabs with an inverter and fridge so you're not living out of a truck stop.
  • ELD and tablet already installed and set up — no fighting with logs.
  • Fuel card, Pre-Pass and toll transponder so you're never paying out of pocket on the road.
  • Dash cameras that protect you when someone else causes the accident.
  • 53' dry van trailers kept clean, swept, and ready to load.
Requirements

What we need from you

If you can check these boxes, we want to talk. If you're close but not exactly there, call anyway — we'd rather hear the full story than lose a good driver to a checkbox.

  • Valid Class A CDL issued in the United States.
  • At least 6 months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
  • Acceptable MVR with no pattern of serious moving violations.
  • No DUI or DWI in the past five years.
  • Pass a DOT physical and a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse query with no unresolved violations.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
Have your paperwork ready. Bringing your CDL, medical card, and last three years of employment history to the first call moves you through onboarding much faster.

Driver Application

Three questions. That's it.

No long application and no account to create. Give us your name and number, tell us how you want to run, and a recruiter calls you back — usually the same day.

  • A real person calls you back, not an automated system
  • We go over pay, lanes, and home time on that first call
  • Your information is never sold or shared with lead brokers

Rather just call?

Driver FAQ

Questions drivers ask us

We build home time into your schedule instead of treating it as a favor. Tell your recruiter what you need — weekends home, every other week, or longer runs with more days off at once — and we'll be honest about whether we can deliver it before you ever sign on.

No. If you have verifiable Class A experience in reefer, flatbed, or tanker, dry van will be a straightforward transition. Power only work is mostly drop and hook, which most experienced drivers pick up on the first load.

A recruiter calls you, usually the same business day. We go over pay, lanes, and home time on that first call. If it's a fit on both sides, we run your MVR and Clearinghouse query, schedule your DOT physical and drug screen, and set an orientation date.

Our standard requirement is six months of verifiable experience, so brand-new graduates usually aren't a fit right away. Apply anyway and tell us where you are — we'll let you know honestly what you'd need before we can bring you on.

We run all 48 contiguous states, with the heaviest volume through the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast out of our Ohio base. If you want to stay regional, say so on your application and we'll build your schedule around it.

Three minutes to apply, one phone call to find out if we're the right fit. No pressure either way.
