Prime Edge (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. That includes:

• Rate requests — company name, contact name, phone, email, origin and destination, service type, commodity, weight, pickup date, and any notes you add.
• Driver applications — the role you are applying for, first and last name, date of birth, Social Security number, phone, email, street address, city, state, ZIP code, whether you are legally employable in the United States, whether you are currently employed, and how you heard about us.
• General messages — name, company, phone, email, inquiry type, and message content.

The driver application asks for a Social Security number because federal regulations require a motor carrier to run a Motor Vehicle Record check, a PSP report, and a Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse query before hiring a driver. We use it for those checks and for the employment and tax records we are required to keep — nothing else.

We never ask for bank details, card numbers, or payment information through this website, and we never ask for your Social Security number by text message or on any page other than the driver application. If something claiming to be us asks for that, do not enter it — call us at (646) 322-0148 instead.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up by phone or email.
• To quote and schedule freight, and to evaluate driver applications.
• To complete onboarding, verification, and required compliance checks.
• To keep records that federal and state transportation regulations require us to keep.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with lead-generation companies or marketing brokers. Driver and customer information stays with the people at Prime Edge who need it to do their jobs.

When we may share information

We share information only in limited situations:

• With service providers who help us operate — for example, background check providers, drug testing facilities, or insurance verification services — and only what those providers need.
• When required by law, subpoena, or a regulatory authority such as the FMCSA or the Department of Transportation.
• To protect the safety, rights, or property of Prime Edge, our drivers, or the public.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Some embedded third-party content — such as the Google Maps frame on our contact page or the web fonts we load — may set cookies or record requests under their own privacy policies. Your browser settings let you block or clear those at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep application and shipment records for as long as federal motor carrier regulations require, and for as long as is reasonably useful for an ongoing business relationship. After that, records are securely deleted or destroyed.

Your choices

Children

This website is intended for commercial and employment purposes and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted clearly on this page.
