We are a carrier. Prime Edge LLC runs on its own FMCSA operating authority, and every load moves under it — either in our own trucks or with owner-operators leased on to us and dispatched by our office. We do not broker freight out to third-party carriers, so your load never gets re-posted to the board. Call dispatch for our MC and USDOT numbers and you can verify all of this yourself.
If you already own or lease trailers, we supply just the tractor and driver to pull them. That works well for drop-and-hook programs, moving trailers between your own facilities, clearing a backed-up yard, or scaling up during a busy season without buying trucks.
Usually within the hour during business hours, and often much faster if you call. For recurring lanes we can put a standing rate in place so you're not requesting a quote every week.
We maintain auto liability and cargo coverage that meets standard shipper and broker requirements, and we'll have our agent send a certificate of insurance naming you as certificate holder before the first pickup. Ask dispatch and it goes out the same day.
Our trucks are ELD equipped, so we can give you position and ETA any time you ask. We also send check calls at pickup, in transit, and at delivery by default — most customers find they stop needing to ask at all.
